AI Actions available to more users!
We’ve introduced configurable permissions to enable more users to create AI Actions. Previously, this was reserved for Firm Admins only, but now Firm Members can be granted access as well.
If you’re new to AI Actions, they can save teams up to 10 hours per engagement by streamlining tasks such as identifying risks, drafting tests, formulating recommendations, and detecting quality issues. You can learn more here or contact your CSM to schedule a live walkthrough.
Expanded time savings recommendations
We want your team to get the maximum value from Fieldguide, so we’ve expanded our Time Savings recommendations in Fieldguide Insights.
You’ll now see personalized time savings estimates and recommendations for multiple engagement types and frameworks, as well as several new recommendations for AI Actions, AI Copilot, Milestones, and more!
Request Visibility Updates
We know Request management is critical for efficiency and client experience, so we’ve made updates to our Request Visibility features. Here are some of the latest updates:
Client Access is now a unified dropdown, consolidating “hidden” and “private” requests.
During Rollover easily configure request visibility in bulk to ensure clients only see requests when you’re ready.
Easily bulk update request visibility on the Requests screen for faster changes.

Workspace task filter improvements The Tasks modal in Workspace now remembers if you checked the "Show completed" filter.
Streamlined @ mentions for client users. When client users go to @mention a user in a comment, they will now only see members of the engagement team.
Fieldguide Sheets
Formula, Document Reference, and Document columns are now available in New Sheets mode!
Columns preserved during import. Imports now include all columns in your upload sheet, not just the ones in the import template.
Filter the Documents column using text. Easily find the document you need using a word or phrase.
Improved load times for large, cross-linked engagements. Optimized experience for complex, cross-linked engagements.
Reporting
More number formats supported in report generation. Learn more
Report generation now supports formula columns. When your report tags contain a formula column, its values will now populate within the report.
Report Collaboration support for empty fields. If you have an empty Form field or empty row in a Sheet, you can now populate that directly from a Report.
Vertical Report Tags. You can now add Sheet rows in a vertical format when generating reports giving you more styling flexibility. Learn more
Report Alerts You’ll now see alerts when a report is missing Sheet sections, views, columns, rows or form fields. Learn more
Platform
APIs for Engagement setup. Firms can now set up engagements and assign team members using APIs for greater automation and interoperability.
Multi-Engagement Archiving. When you have a Reference File that's linked to multiple Engagements and one of those Engagements is archived, we now take a copy of the Reference File and store it in the archived Engagement. Learn more
System Admin role. This new role helps you limit access to sensitive system permissions in Fieldguide, including data deletion abilities. Learn more
Self-Service SSO configuration. This enables IT admins to easily setup SSO authentication for their firm with minimal support from Fieldguide.
