Add the Accounts columns to a financial audit sheet

Overview

After setting up the trial balance sheet in a financial audit, you can add the client's accounts and trial balance values to additional sheets in this engagement. This allows you to create separate sheets for other purposes, like analytical procedures or lead sheets.

Add accounts to a sheet

To add accounts to a sheet:

You can only add accounts to sheets that are connected to the framework selected for this engagement. You can view the engagement's framework under Engagement Settings > Information.

  1. On the sheet, click ➕ > Add column.

  2. Select Account Name as the column type and click Add column.

  3. Fieldguide will automatically add all accounts from the trial balance to your sheet along with these columns:

    • Account Name

    • Account Number

    • Shared columns: These are the account values. These columns from your trial balance will be added to this sheet in a 2-way sync.

If you add new accounts to your trial balance later on, the new accounts will be added automatically to any sheets that have trial balance accounts linked.
