Client permissions overview

All users have a baseline level of access to Fieldguide that is determined by their user role. For client users, the two options are:

  • Client Admin

  • Client Member

The level of access client users have can be further customized on a per-engagement basis. For more information, see: Manage client access to an engagement.

Engagements

Access to all engagements they are a member of.

Access only to engagements where they have been assigned a request,

Sheets

Requests

Can view and edit all visible requests in an engagement they are a member of.

Can view and edit requests they are set as owner of.

Documents

No access by default. See note [1].

Reports

Controls

Access to their company's controls.

Access only to controls they are owner of.

Users & Clients

Can create users at their company.

No access.

Templates

No access.
