Overview
Controls are stored at the client level in the Controls menu and then referenced within engagements' sheets. Here’s how to handle some common scenarios with changing controls and mappings in your sheet and control library.
Change a row’s mapping to a different criteria
Open the control, add the new mapping, and remove the previous mapping. Then, move the row to the correct section in your sheet.
Add a new control mapping to a sheet
Add the mapping you need to this control, then open your sheet and click the Additional controls button. If there’s another row with this control, you can optionally sync it with your new row.
Remove a control mapping from a sheet
Open the control and remove the mapping. To delete the row from your sheet, follow these steps:
Check if the row is synced with another row. If it is, disable the sync.
Remove any sign offs on the row
Delete the row
Add a new control to a sheet

Delete a control from the library and sheet
Delete the control from your controls library. To delete the row from your sheet, follow these steps:
Check if the row is synced with another row. If it is, disable the sync.
Remove any sign offs on the row
Delete the row
Add multiple tests to one control
If a control has more than one test, create an additional sheet row with the same control.
If the control should be mapped to multiple criteria in your sheet, you’ll need to create the additional row under each of these sections, and then sync the row to any others that should share the same test.
For example: every instance of the row CC1.1a should be synced to CCx.xa, and every instance of CC1.1b should be synced to CCx.xb, and so on.
