Follow these steps to connect your Vanta account to Fieldguide for the control import and evidence import features. For request sync, see Set up Vanta for request sync instead.
In your Vanta instance, go to Auditor API on the left sidebar, then click Create.
In a separate tab, go to your Fieldguide user profile and open the Integrations menu. Click Connect on the Vanta tile.
Enter the required information to connect your Vanta account:
The email connected to your Vanta account.
Your Vanta Client ID and Client Secret. Copy these from Vanta and paste these into the setup form in Fieldguide.
Click Connect.
When Fieldguide asks whether you want to set up request sync, click No.
If you also plan to use request sync, do not enable it here—it requires a separate setup under a dedicated integration user account. See Set up Vanta for request sync.Enter the code that was sent to the email connected to your Vanta account.
Fieldguide will display a confirmation message if the integration was successfully connected.
Once you've connected your Vanta account, you can import controls from Vanta and import evidence files from Vanta.
The Vanta integration's import features are set up for individual users in Fieldguide, not for teams. If your team shares a Vanta login, you'll need to generate a separate token for each user using the integration.
