AI Chat for Sheets is a conversational AI assistant inside the Sheets menu. It uses your sheet's data and engagement information as context to answer your prompts. Use AI Chat to ask questions in natural language and receive relevant, contextual insights about controls, tests, and other data inside your sheet.
Use AI Chat inside a sheet
Open Chat
from a sheet inside the Sheets menu.Enter a prompt, or select one from the prompt library.

AI Chat has access to the following information about your sheet:
Cell values.
Sheet sections.
Column names and types. Includes shared columns.
Row location and sync status.
Engagement name, start date, and end date (from engagement settings).
AI Chat only looks inside the sheet you're chatting inside when it answers your prompts. It doesn't consider any of the other sheets in your engagement. To ask AI about a different sheet, go to that sheet and open the Chat window there.
