Export trial balance using the Excel add-in
You can use Fieldguide's Excel add-in to insert a copy of a trial balance's data into an Excel file. This is the recommended option for exporting trial balance data.
To insert a copy of the trial balance data into an Excel file:
Select the engagement in the add-in's Setup menu.
Open the add-in's Trial balance export menu.
Select the desired columns from the trial balance dropdown.
Click Insert. The data will be inserted into a new tab.
Export trial balance using the export sheet function
Fieldguide offers a general sheet export functionality that can also be used on trial balances. This export format is less optimized for the trial balance layout.
