ZIP files in an engagement can be extracted in Fieldguide. Unzipping a file will preserve the original file and add a folder containing the unzipped files. The new folder will also include a .txt file report of the folders' contents. To extract a ZIP file, follow these steps:
Right-click the ZIP file.
Click Unzip.
Only firm users can extract ZIP files. Client users can't extract ZIP files inside Fieldguide, but can download a ZIP file and extract on their local computer.
You can only unzip one ZIP file at a time.
Password-protected ZIP files can't be unzipped in Fieldguide.
Reference files cannot be unzipped.
