There are several ways to notify users of events in Fieldguide by email
One-off Summary Message
To send a one-off notification of tasks and requests:
Go to the user's profile.
Under Summary Email, click Send Now next to "Send a list of incomplete tasks and requests".
You can also send yourself a preview of this message to see exactly how this looks by clicking Send me a test!
Personalized Daily or Weekly Digest
Send a daily or weekly digest to yourself...
Click on the user profile icon on the upper right, then choose "Profile".
From here, you can turn on a daily or weekly summary email that will provide you with a list of upcoming requests and tasks. Weekly summary emails are sent at midnight on Mondays.

Firm Admins can enable a daily digest for their users:
Navigate to the Users screen
Select the User from the list
Scroll down to Notifications
Toggle on the daily or weekly summary email
Users will be able to log in and disable this, if desired.
One-off Request Notification
When you create or edit a Request, you can optionally choose to immediately notify the owner by toggling "Notify Request Owners by email". This will notify the user when the request is created or edited.
Personal Notifications
Go to your user profile, under the person icon > "Profile" menu option.
You can choose to get notified of all Tasks assigned to you, all status changes to Requests you own, all Document uploads to Requests you own, and all unarchived engagements past their report release date.
Client Digest
Firm admins and firm members are able to receive daily, or weekly updates regarding a client's activity across engagements:
Navigate to your profile settings by clicking the person icon in the top right corner, and then selecting My Profile.
Scroll down to the section Client Digests
Click +Client Digest
Select the client and the frequency desired for the email digest
Scroll down and click Update User to save
