If you've permanently deleted data in Fieldguide—such as a document, engagement, or user—contact Fieldguide support as soon as possible so our team can look into recovery options.
What counts as permanently deleted
Data is permanently deleted in two situations:
Deleted from the recycle bin. Some document types go to a recycle bin when you first delete them. Once you delete an item from the recycle bin, it's permanently removed.
Deleted directly with no recycle bin. Most object types in Fieldguide—including engagements and users—don't have a recycle bin. Deleting them removes them immediately and permanently.
Contact support
To report accidentally deleted data, contact Fieldguide support and be prepared to share the following:
What was deleted: The type of object (for example, engagement, document, or user) and its name or any identifying details
When it was deleted: The date and approximate time, if known
Who deleted it: The name and email address of the user who performed the deletion, if known
Any other relevant context: For example, whether multiple items were deleted at once, or if the deletion was part of a bulk action
Providing this information upfront helps our team investigate your case and respond more quickly.
Recovery isn't always possible, but contacting support promptly gives us the best chance of helping you. Our team will review your request and let you know what recovery options are available.
