AI Insights helps firm leaders understand how their teams adopt and use Fieldguide AI across engagements. These dashboards provide visibility into your firm’s AI maturity, where AI features are being used, and which engagements or team members may benefit from additional guidance.
AI Utilization Insights brings together firm-wide, engagement-level, and team-level metrics to help leaders drive AI adoption and track progress over time. Insights include:
Practice-level AI usage trends, including your firm’s AI Maturity Level and AI Utilization Score.
Engagement AI Usage, highlighting which engagements have the highest AI activity.
Team AI Usage, showing which team members use AI most frequently and how usage trends shift week to week.
How it works
AI Utilization Insights uses activity from Fieldguide AI—such as Field Agents, AI Actions, AI Chat usage, and other AI-powered workflows—to calculate adoption trends. Metrics are aggregated into three Insights menus:
Practice Insights → AI Utilization
Engagement Insights → Engagement AI Usage
Team Member Insights → Team AI Usage
Each dashboard includes charts, filters, and underlying data tables to help firm leaders drill into specific clients, service lines, engagements, or team members. Data reflects real activity from Fieldguide AI features and updates automatically.
AI Utilization
The AI Utilization tab in the Practice Insights menu provides a firm-wide view of AI maturity and usage patterns.
Key elements:
AI Maturity Level: Displays your firm’s current maturity level, based on how deeply AI tools are embedded into workflows.
AI Utilization Score: A percentage score of how comprehensively your firm uses AI, based on three metrics: Engagement Usage, Team Usage, and Frequency (AI interaction volume compared to industry averages).
AI Utilization Score Metrics: Breaks down the AI usage by team usage, engagement usage, and frequency.
Engagement Usage: Shows the percentage of engagements utilizing AI.
Frequency: Shows volume of AI interactions per engagement, based on engagements active within the last 6 months.
Team Usage: Shows the percentage of team members using AI features.
AI utilization by service line
Engagement AI Usage
The Engagement AI Usage tab in the Engagement Insights menu shows which engagements use AI features most frequently.
Key elements:
Engagements with Highest AI Usage: A ranked list showing AI interaction counts by engagement.
Engagement Details: A table with the underlying data including engagement name, status, engagement lead, service line, and AI interaction counts by feature.
Team AI Usage
The Team AI Usage tab in the Team Member Insights menu shows AI usage by individual team members.
Key elements:
Team Members with Highest AI Usage: A ranked list showing users' AI interaction counts across the selected date range.
Team AI Usage by Week: A heatmap showing users' patterns or shifts in AI adoption over time.
These dashboards help leaders identify:
High-adopting practitioners who can champion best practices.
Teams or users who might need additional training or reminders.
Filters and underlying data
Most dashboards allow filtering by service line, client, engagement lead, or date range. Underlying data can be exported using the same workflow available in other Fieldguide Insights dashboards.
