When a request is linked to a sample, files inside the request have an optional Linked Sample property where you can link sample items to specific files. Link a sample item to a file to indicate that the file fulfills the request for that sample item. Fieldguide will automatically check off that sample item inside the checklist when you link it to a file.
You can link a single sample item to multiple files.
You can link the same file to multiple sample items.
Both firm users and client users can edit the Linked Sample property's value.
If you enabled autocopy on the request, the request's files will be copied to folders in the engagement's Documents when you change its status to Ready for Review. Any files that were linked to sample items inside the request will be automatically displayed in the sample sheet in a Document Reference column named [Request name] - Evidence Reference.
